May 1–2, 2026 | Chapel Hill, North CarolinaEmbodied Reiki: First Degree + Somatic Energy Foundations
What to Expect-
Reiki is the energy of life. A gentle, sacred path of remembering the healing intelligence already alive within you.
This work is not about adding something new. It is about becoming intimate with what is already here—within your body, your awareness, and your presence.
This is more than a Level One Reiki training. This is an initiation into a deeper relationship with your body, your nervous system, and the subtle field of life moving through you.
While you will receive the traditional First Degree Reiki attunements, this training is uniquely woven with somatic and embodiment-based foundations—supporting you not only in channeling energy, but in being present within it.
This is where energy work becomes embodied.
This is where presence becomes the practice.
-
This training also teaches you how to remain grounded and embodied while you’re working…
how to become aware of your sensory system, and how you receive, interpret, and understand energy…
how to hold a safe, regulated, relational field…
how to develop trust in your subtle perception…
and how to create the kind of container where a person can truly integrate—through the body—the healing or awakening that is unfolding within them.
In this immersive two-day training, you will receive:
• Four First Degree Reiki attunements
• History and lineage of Reiki
• The Reiki precepts as a lived, embodied practice
• Grounding, centering, and energetic protection
• Somatic foundations and nervous system awareness
• Introduction to the chakras and energetic harmonics
• Practitioner presence and relational field dynamics
• Introduction to the human energy field
• Supervised, supported practice time
• Study manual and certificate of completion
-
Most Reiki Level One trainings teach you how to channel energy. This training also teaches you how to:
• stay in your body while you’re working
• track your nervous system and another’s
• hold a safe and regulated relational field
• trust subtle perception without leaving yourself
This creates a foundation not just for Reiki, but for any healing, therapeutic, or awakening-oriented work you may feel called into.

This training is open to anyone who feels called. It may especially support you if you are:
• new to energy work and want a grounded, embodied foundation
• already a practitioner and want to deepen your presence and sensitivity
• drawn to healing, awakening, and understanding the body as a pathway
• wanting to feel more connected, attuned, and at home in yourself
You are not learning something outside of yourself. You are remembering what has always been here—and allowing it to take form, through your body, as lived presence.
